How it works

Delivering accurate results in under 10 minutes, FastBallast uses Single Turnover Active Fluorescence (STAF) to measure the distribution of variable fluorescence from living phytoplankton cells. From this, an accurate assessment of cell count in the regulated size range of 10 to 50 microns is made to generate a clear pass/fail result.
