How it works

MicroSTAF is pre-programmable for fully autonomous sample collection and acquisition of Fluorescence Light Curves (FLC) and Photoactive Excitation Profiles (PEP). It enables dispersed deep sea profiling and on-board analysis, increasing operational efficiencies, expanding sample reach and reducing risk.

Where it works

MicroSTAF assesses phytoplankton primary productivity over an expanded sampling area at depths of up to 2,000m. Our proven active fluorometry technology, reduces size and power consumption by over 70% enabling a wider range of application across Marine Autonomous Systems (MAS), including Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV) and gliders.
