Chelsea Technologies has been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus certification, further distinguishing the brand as a partner of choice for the defence industries.
Chelsea Technologies have been awarded ‘Cyber Essentials Plus’ certification by the IASME Consortium, after successfully passing an independent IT security audit. Cyber Essentials standards provide assurance that organisations have multiple ‘key information security controls’ in place and are proven resilient against cyber-attacks and breaches of information security. The Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation has been awarded to Chelsea following a rigorous independent auditing process, demonstrating that its systems and procedures are sophisticated, robust and secure.
Chelsea’s Chief Engineer – Technical, Paul Bolton, said “Gaining our Cyber Essentials Plus certification is the result of an ongoing team effort to ensure that Chelsea can and will remain a partner of choice in sectors where information security is paramount. Our dedicated team of IT professionals have built a robust IT infrastructure and we have put robust procedures in place to ensure that the data we process remains safeguarded.”
Commenting on the achievement, Chelsea’s Managing Director, Elizabeth Paull, said “Gaining accreditation for our internal systems and processes shows our continued commitment to being a trustworthy partner to our customers. I am very proud of the team for achieving this recognition and Chelsea remains focussed on maintaining the highest standards for our products and our business.”
