MiniPack CTD-F -  Multi-parameter sensor suite to monitor fluorescence, conductivity, temperature and depth Chelsea Technologies Group’s MiniPack is a low cost, compact, robust and fully integrated CTD-F sensor suite designed to meet the demands of open ocean, estuarine and fresh water environmental monitoring. It contains a fluorometer, conductivity, temperature and depth sensor.

 

MiniPack is designed to be a multi-parameter sensor that can be deployed individually or as the core of a larger multi-parameter system. As such, it may be used as a discrete profiling instrument or form the core of a towed vehicle monitoring system. It has been designed specifically for easy installation into the Chelsea Technologies Group’s range of towed vehicles.

How does it work?

MiniPack CTD-F is a compact, robust fully integrated CTD-F sensor suite which addresses the monitoring requirements within ocean, estuarine and fresh water environments. It can be deployed as an individual CTD-F multi-sensor, or form the basis of a larger sensor system, with the capability of connecting to a large number of individual sensors. The CTG MiniPack CTD-F contains a fluorometer, conductivity, temperature and depth sensor.

 

The data transmission system facilitates acquisition of data from up to 16 external sensors. Data is transmitted in real-time with all on-board sensors reporting in engineering units. The MiniPack CTD-F is normally powered via the CTG Interface Unit, and the data presented on a PC operating the CTG data acquisition programme TPlot8.

 

MiniPack CTD-F is frequently fitted within a CTG towed vehicle such as SeaSoar II or NuShuttle, and provides the central data acquisition core of such systems.

Flow-Through Manifold

The Flow-Through Manifold is designed to convert the MiniPack from an in-situ CTD-F sensor suite to a flow-through version for in-line monitoring and process control applications.

 

The MiniPack Flow-Through Manifold offers the following features:
